How many US citizens shouldn't have that right??

A study done by newsweek showed that 38 percent of the 1000 US citizens that they tested failed the citizenship test! This is appalling.  The test is for the most part rudimentary government, history, civics, and rights.  Yet, 29 % of the people in this study couldn't name the vice president, 44 % couldn't define the Bill of Rights, and 6 % couldn't even find Independence Day on the calendar.  This is just absolutely pitiful and sad when it comes down to it.

  1. Wow!!!! I honestly am not surprised that many fail overall...but the specific ones you give are shocking! The VP.. and finding independence day.. those should be giveaways for citizens!
